Diana J is right that word is horrible. I hate to hear anyone say it. Steve you should use Yahoo! Answers to ask intelligent questions not ignorant ones. The woman above is right. Why did you place this question in this category? That's hateful. The word you were looking for is grossest not grosses.

I am aware that at times it may inspire a person to bravery in time of war but as a person who almost killed another in a blinding fit of rage and hate, I can say that hate is destructive and can give rise to any of the words quoted so far.
This is so sad.

I dislike "c*nt", too. And I generally want to punch people who call women "sluts". It's about the ugliest word I can think of to call another human being, even if it's generally not as taboo in society as other words.
In gay circles, the phrase I really hate is "f*g hag".
