There are people out there, some of whom are not liberals, believe firmly that the GOP (the Rebublicans) engaged in active election-rigging practices in key battleground states to achieve victory in the first two elections of the 21st century. What say you?

who knows? a lot of evidence would seem to imply it. i believe that there is enough that a federal grand jury should be convened to begin an investigation.

I don't have any gripe about the 2004 election whatsoever. Because I didn't participate. I didn't vote -- I don't care who won.

I cared deeply about how 2000 turned out. Because the U.S. Supreme Court should have butted out (just like the lower federal courts did). When Bush argued to federal courts that the method of counting the Florida ballots was a violation of the Equal Protection Clause, I was devastated. When the Court granted that request, I lost all respect for that institution. The case of Bush v. Gore is the reason why I didn't vote in 2004 or 2006 and it is the reason why I will probably never vote again.

Was 2000 stolen? I like to say so, as a matter of "sound byte" expressions. No, it wasn't truly "stolen." But the election officials and judges of Florida were entitled to figure out who had really won. Who had REALLY won! Even though the journalists who studied the ballots afterwards concluded that Gore would not have overtaken Bush's lead, the U.S.S.C. simply should not have gotten involved. The re-counts should have been allowed to continue.

I have lost all respect for the criminal U.S. Supreme Court. And because of them I will never vote again.

The Republican Party came into power in 2000 when G. Bush was not elected but selected by the Supreme Court who legally was not supposed to interfere with state elections as they did in Florida. They pulled every trick in the book in that state.

In 2004 they did the same thing in Ohio and were again successful and now the country is paying the price.

Yes Bush did not win It was fixed in Florida and the Supreme Court knew it but they are GOP puppets. There should have been some arrests starting in Florida. How can anybody in their right mind ever vote for a republican again. They hate the little guy and want to fight wars that we can not win.

Utter nonsense. The 2000 election had at least 3 recounts. Decades ago,JFK lost a popular vote and won the electoral one. It happens.
Is it a coincidence that the year the dmoecrats took the senate and house, miraculously, there were no reports of voter fraud or disenfrancihsement?

doubtful. There are to many rednecks in this united states of america that supported the Bush propaganda practice. And there are a lot that still do. however a number of people who can surely study are looking out some very annoying issues approximately him.

SOMEHOW?!
Of course the elections were stolen and the will of the voting-majority of the American people was ignored!

They were stolen?? Has anyone informed the FBI or the Secret
Service? Someone should you know.

The republicans won, the Democrats lost, stop whining
about it.

MERRY CHRISTMAS and have a nice day.

Thank you very much, while you're up!!!

Even the right republican didn't win. Rove ruined McCain's chances by the South Carolina black baby character assassination. Instead we got a draft dodger who likes to send young Americans off to die.

The democrat party tried to steal those two elections but were unsuccessful. They learned from their mistakes and were successful in stealing the recent mid term elections and control of the house.
