How much money do woen make annually in construction? I heard they get more work because there isn't a lot of women in construction, so is they're annual salary higher than a males? And if you don't know how much more a women get's paid, can you just tell me how much the annual salary is generally?

a starting position is about 50,000 to 55,000

I can only speak for the 'UK' here.

Women in the construction 'industry' find it very hard to get work because the 'Poles' have taken over nearly all the major contracts. Even the British males, (time served) are having a hard time.

But women in 'private' construction work, (as long as they're competent and hard working) can often get higher rates than men because women feel safer in the home, alone with female tradespeople. They also trust women more.

You would be looking at a 'minimum' of £30,000- (GBP)
per year on a self-employed basis.

There is a good niche market in this area.

Not enough compared to men. I have worked with some great female construction workers for half the pay, and I think that is like totally wrong.

I have worked construction and in factories. Made the same amount as the men.

Yes we make more, cause we are smart, no one likes a law suit, and it is not polite to ask a lady her salary, it's like asking her her age, or true hair color, that's just plain RUDE!
