The battle between the PS3, 360, and Wii has just begun. Who do you think will be the overall winner and why? Thanks for your comments.

I think the this "next generation console war" won't really have an outright winner in the common sense. The Wii will succeed in bringing gaming to the non-gaming masses, while the fanboys will debate over whether the xbox 360 or PS3 is better. I think if the PS3 gets its software act together, it will be tough to beat. The key to xbox 360 winning is to put out a solid array of exclusive titles...which is how PS2 and PS1 won the last two console wars. Franchises like Final Fantasy and Metal Gear Solid may clinch it for Sony, but Microsoft has some great franchises of its own like Halo and Gears of War. Now that Grand Theft Auto is cross-franchise, it won't be a determining factor anymore.
So to sum it up, I believe Wii isn't in the same "war" as PS3 and Xbox 360. Wii has craved out its out niche as a family-safe fun device and, being the only competitor on that front, it will win. PS3 and Xbox 360 is right now undecided among the l337 gamers and will depend on who wins the software battle (which is usually what decides console wars). Content is king.

I think the Wii will probably win. It offers something that the other two don't. Also, it is a lot cheaper and will attract many casual gamers.
The PS3 is too expensive and there aren't enough to go around. Also, there are a lot of problems, and not a lot of good games for it yet.
I think Xbox will come in second, but there's too many problems with it too. However, it is a good system with a lot of good games.
I think this time around, Sony may be the loser. But maybe in about five years, when everyone wants a blu-ray player and has a high-def TV, it may be the winner. Right now, it has too many features and not enough games.

The PS3 nonetheless hasn't been performed with the help of the known public, yet many human beings have waited for it, and the Xbox 360 has also had complications. Im wondering that Sony is going to win this conflict.

If the Wii gets the games it will probably win just because they have a nice concept at a much cheaper price. I wouldn't spend the money on the others myself, I would rather put a little more up and buy a good gaming PC.

The Wii has caused alot of people to throw their remotes at there valuable plasma screen. Go on youtube and check it out.
The PS3 is reported of bugs on its system...
