Hate is a bit strong in this case. I know they heartily disapprove. And in some instances, vegetarians feel quite superior to we carnivores.
I was invited to a certain pot luck dinner one time and where there were a few vegetarians attending among the 20 other guests and I was informed that I had to "respect" that and bring only a vegetarian dish.
I brought meat.

Ignorance, I think. Better adage I have heard is - "Hate the sin not the sinner" ( if meat eating is considered a sin according to those haters). Vegetarians also commit many sins without realizing it. So before we hate any one, we must check how good or bad we ourselves are. As in the Bible, "Let the one without sin caste the first stone". Although it is superior to be a vegan than a vegetarian, vegans should not hate vegetarians. Hate hurts the hater more than the hated.

I, in my opinion have in no way felt any anger in the direction of meat eaters, and that i understand others who're the comparable. i've got not encountered too many that're hateful in the direction of people who are not like them. If something, i've got stumbled on some greater expertise than others by using fact some vegetarians could open their minds slightly on occasion interior the foodstuff experience to attempt new, distinctive thoughts. If something, i've got observed greater meat eaters commenting on my existence-form than vegetarians on theirs.

Eating meat is an acquired taste. Those vegetarians were probably fed a meat diet as a kid. Later on in life, they switch to a vegetarian diet. Still, the acquired taste is still in their system. Like a drug addict, they have to slowly wean themselves out of it.

I am so sick of all their hatin...I mean, damn, they eat vegetables sometimes not even killed yet. Can you imagine the screams of a carrot as it is brutally yanked from the earth? How about the pain and agony a fresh snap pea goes thru as the sharp and hurtful teeth of a vegetarian cuts thru it's flesh? Just stop to think for one second what it must be like to be lettuce: Cut your head off as you bask in the sun...carted off in an old truck, bought like a common slave at market, taken home and torn open or cut into bite sized pieces for the enjoyment an entertainment of greedy drool dripping vegetarians. Why must this madness continue? All I am saying is...GIVE PEAS A CHANCE!

Like most lifestyle choices that exist outside the "norm" of society, they want to feel some kind of sense of superiority to validate their choice.
Keep in mind, the vast majority of vegitarians and vegans just go about their day eating eggplants and mushrooms and don't really bother anybody. It is only the true a&&holes that shove it in everybody's faces. And, in all fairness, vegitarianism really has nothing to do with being an a&&hole.

Because they are really stupid people. They need some reason to hate, and a 'meat eater' is the easy way out. I would really like to know were they get the majority of the iron and B12 needs? By pill? Because, either synthetic or by animal, we would not be here if we didn't get our B12 at least.

Vegetarians are pure physically, and usually they are pure spiritually, because eating vegetables also requires self-control and spiritual orientation.
Such people don't hate anybody. If they don't reach this level, let them be as they want to be.
