i have google desktop, it saves all my ims and cached webpages of emails from like months ago, i just had to drag up an im from may to use. just google it and download it, but your husband might find out, if it's not actually on the desktop it isn't recording your activity.

If you are sure your husband cheats on you, and the age of consent is 16 where you live, then I'd say go for it. But, how would your husband react if he finds out? Even if he cheats on you, he might not think the same about it coming from your end, and could possibly kill the both of you. Or, tell him you know about him cheating, and you would like to date a younger guy. If he can't handle that then get a divorce and take half his stuff. Why are you still with your piece of crap husband? You typed the question and it looks to me like you are educated. If he did rape a 13 year old, you need to report it to the police, get a lawyer and divorce him. You still know the difference between right and wrong, and it is wrong for you to stay with him. If I was you I would pack up everything you want, drain the bank account, and get an apartment and find a job. There are lots of jobs where you don't need anymore education than to be able to read or write, and sometimes that isn't even necessary. Get the hell away from him, and if your kids are so messed up because of him, let them live with him. If you have always been a good mom, they will still be in your life.

Hi

Well you can do a quick search on the internet to find out programs which allow you to track keystrokes and find deleted records - but you say you *know* that he's cheating. How do you KNOW that? What makes you so sure?

The classic pieces of evidence - credit card statements, air tickets etc - are going to hold far more water in a case of law and if he is conducting an affair sooner or later he's going to slip up.

Best wishes in a horrible time.

Unless you catch your spouse in the act of adultry it's difficult to prove in court. Go ahead with divorce proceedings and this will bring the creature from the closet faster than you can anyother way. Or hire a private eye. You can also go to a store called TheSpy Factory and they can give you all kinds of good advice. Get rid of him before you end up with aids or something else. He's no longer your husband, he's just just a man your married to.

Take out the hard drive and take it to a professional. It's gonna cost ya, but if you're not computer savvy, it's the only way.

You can also invest in a key logger. It will track everything he types and they are usually discreet enough when running not to be noticed.

"In case of a divorce hearing?" You know he is cheating, don't torture yourself if you don't intend to throw his philandering butt out! If you do, you can always retrieve e-mails if you know his password. Just sign in and go to 'deleted files.' Don't go there unless you really mean to go through it. I've been through this, honey, and no matter how you cut it, it's ugly . I wish you the best.

How heated is the divorce going to be? If there is not alot at stake, why do you feel you need all this damning evidence? Don't turn too many stones cause you may find things you don't want to. If you don't trust him, then leave him.

Get yourself a keylogger program. They sell them at spy type shops. There is one by my house. Check your yellow pages.
