First of all - comfortable shoes. Flip-flops with heels is the worst choise in this regard.
Clothes - wear something that donesn't restrict your movement too much or won't fall off. Also, if there is a black light - wear something white, it will stand out in the darkness.

Definitely shoes you can dance in. Flats are still really in, or even a kitten heel. Sounds like an excuse to dress up a little, so wear a cute skirt or dress, something that makes you feel pretty & that you are excited to wear vs. something too safe (like jeans & a dressy halter - too many girls wear that). If you wear a short skirt or dress be more covered on top so you dont show too much skin & look skanky.
Most importantly you should feel good about it! And whatever you wear, just own it - if you show up in something different from everybody else then great, you are special!

u should probly wear something comfortable but yet fancy because u want to be able to dance and not hurt the whole intire time
