Certain rules and regulations were laid down keeping in view the specific needs of the people like when there is a downpour, the water that comes down is pure. The rain falls on mountains, plains and valleys. According to the region through which the rain water passes, its name and form undergoes changes. But due to these variations, it should not be thought that the water itself is different. Based on the teachings of the founders of different faiths, having regard to the requirements of the time and circumstance of particular countries, and keeping in view the specific needs of the people concerned, certain rules and regulations were laid down. On this account, one faith should not be considered superior and another inferior. Man's primary duty is to bear in mind the sacred truths they espouse and practise them in his life.

In nature everything acts in accordance to rules and regulations of nature. We are able to predict seasons and organize our lives in accordance to the nature's laws in order to live comfortably. The entire cosmos around us revolve and operate obeying the laws of nature. Traffic movements in the streets are safer depending on how well we all obey the rules of the road.
We need to regulate our eating in accordance to our hunger and capacity to eat. So also we regulate our work in order to give exercise and rest to our body as necessary, in order to allow our body to grow well without getting either too much pain or waste away. All religions in the world are also a set of rules and guidelines in order to enable us to live and let live. Witout rules and regulations it will be 'might alone is right' and no justice to the weak.

Fear and Greed. Rules and regulations are generally created to financially benefit the few at the expense of the many and "allowed" by the majority because they are sold as a way to "protect" them from something they fear. Attempts to control others to make yourself safe have never worked and never will. Laws do not stop crime - they only make criminals out of many. What will work is for people to learn they can only change themselves AND each of us is responsible for our own decisions and actions. Many people have never learned that because they've been rebelling against outside control their entire lives.
