I have spoken with several, and they only admit nationals that have graduated from an African high school. Can someone please give me some advice?

Any place other than South Africa. I don't like South Africa, it's too much like America. I have been to Kenya though, and I would like to spend more time there (or another country other than South Africa), and to learn more from their culture.

I know there's an American University in Egypt (in Cairo), an American University in Nigeria (which is in the middle of nowhere near a village, I know someone who goes there), there is University of Legon in Ghana, which i know takes foreign students... but these students usually have British-y credentials like O'Levels and A'Levels... They may take IBs though, so you should check with them. I've been to the Legon University and its a Ghanian university on the outskirts of Accra. If you're American, your easiest bet would be South Africa definitely... but don't give up, man.

I know in Morocco, Al Akhawayn University, is an American style university that is taught in English. There are also 2 universities in Namibia, University of Namibia and Polytechnic of Namibia that are taught in English and fairly close to South Africa. I think it would also depend upon if you want an African university uses English, or an international college or university that just happens to be in Africa.
