It is always best to plant a tree or bushes in the cooler part of the year. Here in Atlanta we plant all through the winter as long as the ground is'nt frozen, which is'nt very often. Your plant will need more water in the summer to establish roots and will stress more in the heat while it is trying to put out new roots. So go dig your holes and start your planting now, remember to add slow release fertilizer to the bottom of your hole, and plant in well draining soil and water in well and mulch around your new tree. Hope you have alot of good fruit in the future!!!!
