does anyone know where to get cheap high quality electric guitars?

i did buy one, buts its rubbish,my friends justs bought a wesley one which is brilliant for 89 pounds, my one cost the same! i want one too,but theyve run out of them at Wesley. Help, i need a good guitar which isnt too much

What level player are you? regardless..you get what you pay for. You may save money by getting a cheapy at first but in the long run your not going to be very happy with it. All guitars sound different including the ones of the same make and model. My best advice would be to hold off a little longer and save to get a good one. You'll be much more pleased. Also try to avoid buying one that you havnt played.Lots of problems there. High action, warped necks and just sounding crappy to name a few. if you have pawn shops there i suggest you check them out. Ive gotten a lot of great deals from them. For instance i found a beautifull washburn for $50.00....going used price from retail stores and online are over $300.00. So look around and try before you buy. If it sounds like crap you wont play it regarless of the price.

Well, you could do a number of things..

- eBay.
- pawn shops.. I know someone who found a 1935 Rickenbacher Model B 6 at an old, run down pawn shop for $400. Turns out, the guitar is highly saught-after, and worth closer to $3,000. So, you never know what you might find..
- Try local music stores after Christmas. Everyone holds huge "after Christmas" sales, you might just get a steal.

Normally the words "cheap" and "high quality" never meet when it comes to guitars. Try pawnshops , etc. Look in your local papers.

guitar center but i don't think they have one in the UK if ur from there...u can go on websites and have them shipped over to you i guess
