Iran is developing the technology to mass produce both fission and fusion nuclear weapons. Will the UN sanctions slow them down and, if so, how much?

u.n. will have no credibility til kofi annan is out of office, i hear a south korean is replacing him, then hopefully the credibility will be back in the u.n.
kofi annan's sanctions were like a slap on the wrist for saddam,
the oil for food program was with other countries(not brit or u.s.)
kofi's relative got kick backs along with others that made off like bandits off that program.
u.n. has no credibilty, that is why u.s. has no more peace keeping missions under u.n. supervision, they are under u.s. supervision.
peace keeping missions are only as violent without declaring war.

The UN is a great prefix for anything they have tried to do,doing,or going to.Incompetence and stupity is their warcry.

Nothing really.. Iran will lower gas output and the West will weaken more than they already are weakening
