Are the Asian Star Trek DVD imports worth it?

I was wondering if the complete DVD sets for the Star Trek series imported from Aisa are worth buying, or if I should wait it out as I imagine at some point in time Paramount will drop the prices, perhaps in a mega set a la Buffy, Six Feet Under, MASH, etc.

Sometimes.
We've bought TNG, DS9, and Voyager. I also got Babylon 5. The B5s are great, except some of the extra features on the last disk of each season don't work. TNG works fine. I had a little skipping with DS9 and the Voyager we got is crap. They only fit 3 episodes to a disk and the last episode of nearly every disk skips excessively. I've researched it and it seems that this is often a result of sub-standard dvds. DS9 and TNG came in 1 large box while Voyager and B5 each have their own box for each season.

These have been worth it for me. I'm a college student and cannot afford to pay out the nose for my favorite programs.

I bought the Enterprise Asian versions and they work well, but the chapters are all screwed up so they start and end in the middle of scenes and some of the special features don't work.

In my opinion, the money that I saved probably was worth it.
