YA is in no way a CURE for anything except boredom..I suffer depression and have been thru a lot of things in my life and I come on here to help others who may be struggling with those same issues (abuse, etc.) In serious questions, I can b very serious.. I love 2 use humor and will do that a lot on here but it has it's time and place.. A lot of these questions are stupid and I will sometimes reply with a smart mouth answer back.. I will in NO way say anything that will deliberately hurt anyone..

I come here to learn. If you can verbalise your knowledge and wisdom into some form of coherent answer, then you aid your own learning process.

Yahoo Answers also offers some insight into other people's issues and the questions that you have; the anonymous way that Yahoo works allows people to ask lots of types of questions, which as a Psychologist, really helps me to understand more about people.

I use it to try to help and try to give my knowledge/insight to the asker. If I see the question is one I feel the need to give a negative answer on, I just pass on it. It especially bothers me when someone shows the slightest signs of suicidal thoughts and uncaring or unknowing people put the most awful answers on there to them. I just cringe at whether that might be the straw that broke the camel's back!

I feel I have found a vast fund of knowledge from the Vedic literature and the process of Bhakti Yoga and I have studied many religions. I hope to help others come to understand this Universal knowledge which can save one from all kinds of misery. Thank you for your question.

If someone asks a serious, logical question, I really try and give them my wisdom, knowledge, experience. For the idiots that come on here, I either ignore their question, or I have to say something sarcastic, I can't help it!!!

Both, I use it to express my own thoughts and ideas about helping other people. Expression, communication can both help and hurt others, even when your intention is to help you can still hurt others. So its my weapon and cure.

Serious questions are treated seriously. But If you ask me what my favorite color is I'll tell you to put down the candy cuz it's time for your nap.
