I'm doing study abroad at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane Morocco next year for a few months. Does anyone have more information about the university and the town besides what's posted online?

Ifrane. Alpine village
Winter is definitely the best time to visit Ifrane, at 1655 metres above sea level, when skiing in the adjacent hills attracts rich Moroccans. Ifrane has good opportunities for winter sports, but there are few things happening in the evenings, and even less outside the season. The buildings of Ifrane are totally non-Moroccan, and were built by the French in the 1930s, and new buildings here, are put up in the same style.

- I never been there, but I know its a nice place.
wish you luck

Al Akhawayn University or AUI (literally meaning The two Brothers' University, in Arabic جامعة الأخوين) is located in Ifrane, Morocco, just 60 kilometers from the imperial city of Fez, in the midst of the Middle Atlas Mountains. It was inaugurated officially by King Hassan II on 16 January 1995. AUI is dedicated to being an international university.
