No.
Once she syncs her iPod to her computer, all of those songs currently on it will be deleted. It's the way iTunes works.
Also personally, I would want my iPod to be sealed closed.

I think it's fine. Oddly, I just did the same thing for my 17 year old niece. One reason I did it was because she not very technically inclined. Not only that, but I want her to be able to enjoy it right away. There is a set-up process on the computer that will take about 10 minutes. For a teenager, that is probably to long to wait when your excited. I loaded about 20 songs that I download to my computer for her in the past.

I don't think so. I wouldn't like my aunt to open the ipod. But I could be totally wrong. If you know she wouldn't mind if you opened it and put a few songs on do it! I'm into Sean Paul, Mary J Blige, Ciara, Cascada, Pussycat Dolls, Snoop dog. Whatever you think she likes! =)

Personally I think the best thing you could do besides opening it (I think she may like to have that honor herself) is to get her a itunes gift card to go with it. Then while she is waiting for everything to charge she can go on-line and download what songs she like herself.

one hundred smacker mastercard and an excellent yule sign to your neck: "Kiss the stinky previous...(upload adjective of decision here) for yule cheer and eight years good luck" ok, it works each 12 months for me. Take it down the paying for centre yule eve, you will see. !

I think is better to let her put her own music...but it can be a good idea to buy a game or something like that.
