please help problem with my sisters ipod nano and my ipod shuffle?

ok my sis got her ipod nano aded music then i plug in my shuffle and my ipod shufflr wont come up on itunes so i cant add songs or take off songs please help i have tried everything

this occurs to me lots ok i shake it quickly in a downward action you kinda upload various tension its meant to try this. once you turn it sideways it should be directly up and not curved. my iPod is appearing precisely comparable to yours
