Yes depends, Naturally formed pearls where they are not seeded by men are VERY expensive and by weight are worth more than diamonds and even amoung diamonds the quality changes the price.

A pearl is definetely the most costly stone on earth. Unless the diamond is rare, a pearl is more costly of the two. Diamonds are not so rare as a pearl thus they are not so costly.

depends on the size of course, however if you are comparing the same size & quality diamond to the same size & quality pearl.. the diamond will be more expensive.
