As far as I know, Anaxagora was a person (something like a philosopher or a mathematician or something) in ancient greece. Maybe they named a street after him, but i don't know that it would be a place...

Anaxagoras is a person's name and unfortunately no region is named after him. Could you be looking for a street named after Anaxagoras?
