the only sounds i've heard tortoises make are hisses and sometimes a rumbling sound. I dont know what turtles sound like cos I thought they're mostly in water, but i'd guess they do the same, hiss anyway.

they make low grumbling noises if you listen hard enough and well if another turtle is present in the room with it

i dont think turtle make nosies but if u listen hard enough maybe just maybe u might hear something.

The turtle goes, prrr - trrr - vrrr - urrr, but to hear this exotic sound, you have to lay on the floor naked.

i dont fink humans can hear turtle talk because pitch can by too low, thats why we cant here ants - there voices are too high
