I'd say just a little mascara and some lipgloss should do u fine. Leave the eyeshadows, eyeliners, blush and foundation alone. If you need a little colour, there are some tinted moisturizers out there (jergens makes one that gives you a hint of color like u were in the sun).

With make up, less is more. You don't want to be able to see it, just sense it. If you see it on your friends, you know they are wearing too much.
First, how are your eyebrows? By 8th grade mine were a huge bush. You might want to have the professionally shaped the first time so you learn how your's will work. Everyone's are different.
Skin care is important. Clean and sunscreen. Yes, sun damage starts at an early age, but doesn't show up for a few years. When you see it, it's too late.
Chances are your face color is pretty uniform. Foundations are used to correct that. If you don't have a problem, then flush the foundation.
Use some eye shadow, but don't do the Cleopatra thing. Stick to the earthy tones, but don't forget the highlight just under the brow.
Blush is fun, but no clown look. It's better for special occassions, not every day. You want to "sense" or "just feel" the make-up, not really see it.
Lipstick........hmm, right now just a clearless gloss or slightly tinted gloss is enough. As you get older.......like over 20 or so, your lips loose color and you need more tint in your lips, thus lipstick.
So right now, shape the brows, go subtle with the eye shadow, liner NO you don't need it, just use a thin line of darker shadow like a liner, lip gloss and clean skin.....blush only for special occassions, not daily.

Well..depands on your personality. Makeup almost always at your age will make you look a few years older. However, makeup at an older age, say 40 plus will almost always make you look younger (granted, its done right)
But, if you want simplicity, here is a tip...
Go with a lgith foundation to smooth your skin (or powder, depeding on how your skin type is) Dust your bottom lids with a shimmer eyeshadow that goes with the colors you are wearing (stay away from neon shimmer..they are just...80's, not the good 80's) Add some mascara, have your eyebrows well groomed!!!! Find a shape that works for you, and keep them that way. Threading is a good way, waxing to. If you don't know, DON'T PLUCK BY YOURSELF.... spend 10 bucks a month to have someone keep your brows perfect!! (a lil hint, get a brow gel from MAC to keep them in place and to keep them looking good!)
Use a light blush to give a healthy glow, and a sheer colored lipstick. Stay away from deep colors or reds unless you want attenion or are going to a special event.
good luck!

Well, first I'd buy a light bronzer, then brush it across your face gently, for a tanner look. Afterwards I suggest you use a hint of black eyeliner, to bring out the true color of your eyes. If your eyes are darker brown or black, or even a dark green or blue, I suggest you use colored liner, such as sea blue. A lip gloss would be nice, too. Not something too dark, not cherry red, but maybe a glittery pink would be good.

These are what you will need:
Lipgloss
Eyeshadow a shade or two darker than your skin
Mascara
Since you are still young, use light makup, maybe A LITTLE powder on your nose, that is all though. Don't put powder all over, you will look old and tacky. Use light lipgloss, some eyeshadow just on your eyelid, and mascara. No eyeliner, because at your age it would look like you were a wannabe skank! So good luck!

"Less is More" So my first advice is to go natural it makes you look pretty. Put mascara and an eyeshadow with a light color that suites you, have a little blush not too much (It doesn't look good at all), and at last put a little lipgloss on your lips and you are DONE!!
And Remember Less is more, that is your key to put make up but still not looking older then you are..
I wish you good luck!!

Well Im in 9th grade and I had the same problem. So I just used eyeshadow(No blues or dark colors), a bit of mascara and lip gloss. For eyeshadows I suggest browns and greens. Hope it helps!

I'm in 8th grade too and all you have to do is wear a little lip liner,
or get lip stick that is your skin color or close and put lip gloss on one lip and the lip stick on the other. And blend the two together.

use a foundation that is close to your skin color, but only to cover up any under eye circles or pimples. use an eyeshadow that's not very bright or noticable. only use mascara on your top eyelashes. don't use lipstick- use a colored lip gloss that is not too much different than the natural shade of your lips
