You have your computer set for the wrong time zone.

Right click on the clock, select adjust time, select time zone and set the proper time zone.

If you use WinXP, it could be that something is wrong with your Hour Zone and/or "Internet Zone". You can see it double-clicking over the clock in the bottom-right of your screen. Another probability is that, if your computer is on a network, it syncronizes the time with the Domain or Server to which it connects to.

Be sure it has the correct time zone option set. Then it should automatically keep the time correct.

Log in again, and make sure to check the box that says "keep me connected" or "remember me on this computer" or something like that. it is right below the password box. Oh, and make sure you have enabled cookies, otherwise this won't work.

you might want to try and change the time on your bios. you'll have to figure a way into your bios. try the delete button while the computer is booting up, prior to when you see the windows logo. if you have a laptop, try one of the Function keys (F1 ~ F12)

You may need to replace the battery for the BIOS, it also powers the clock.

you need to make sure that your time zone is set correctly and that the daylight savings time is also set correctly.
