Amazing simularities there. Bush and Wayne are both actors. Bush dodged out of Vietnam by sort of joining the guard.
Wayne dodged out of WWII by claiming a family deferement.(Too many children)
Bush made people believe he is something he is not
Wayne made people believe he is something he is not.
All told, they are both phonies and you just happened to pick the phoniest of the two in Wayne.

Well since John Wayne was an actor ( seems like you think he was a real cowboy) I would have to say George Bush.

John Wayne was a proud Republican just like Bush and hated Liberals like Jane Fonda, so I would say it's an even draw..

Like it or not, our politicians are generally a product of our culture, not the other way around. Look around you; is there anyone willing to impose the brutality needed to actually swiftly win a war? No, there's not. So long as our altruist culture persists, we will continue paying our soldiers to build schools, toilets & roads for our enemies, rather than beating them so harshly that they see they've lost, and lost the will to continue to fight.
John Wayne, in fact, was able to ID an enemy and confront it head on. He would not be tolerated by today's culture. Thank your university's humanities departments for that.

Both are winners.
Both Wayne & Bush made America winners.
Carter & Clinton were losers.
Both made America losers.
(We haven't lost the war, yet. You are just hoping.)
We have lots of people on Yahoo that want us to lose and the terrorists to win.

John Wayne was an actor and entertainer. George Bush is a crooked politician who keeps us entertained with his malapropisms when he opens his mouth to speak. Of the two, Wayne was probably the most moral and better-loved.

They'll be talking about what Bush did ,long after John Wayne rides the final TV range....unfortunately both could not be fiction actors, the memories of G W Bush would be much more pleasant to recall....

And if the west is indeed lost, it seems to me the mewling, whining, hateful tards who attack every move the man makes are as much responsible. This is what the result is from paying attention to ridiculous opinion polls. Make up your damn mind. Either we fight this war or not. You can NOT have it both ways.
I promise you, IF we don't take this all the way to it's logical conclusion, there is a huge possibility that western civilization will cease to exist as we know it. Ought to make you real proud and happy then.

I'd have to say Ronald Regan.........And before you all go giving me the thumbs down, just ask the 144 Americans he had freed, when Jimmy Carter couldn't and ask where Mohmar Kodafie hid for 15 yrs after Regan had Libya bombed.
