Yes just surviving and getting through the day without arguments and tantrams. Xmas day has a great way of bringing out the real self in people. Oh I wish I could just have one christmas on my own with out all of the baggage people bring with them.
The above statement is just years of the same old same old.
I like Christmas really but just want something different...I could scream but no one will hear me......
Oh by the way merry christmas have a greattime climbing your mountain- we all have mountains to climb especially on Christmas Day...

I like your idea. For me, I will run the fat off later. Christmas will be quite busy. I think the most bizzare thing I shall do is to be the guest at two rather lavish dinners. Thus, I will only eat a little at each.

I'll be sitting on my sisters couch with a fake smile plastered on my mug counting the minutes until I can make a polite escape from the annual family nightmare. Then I will go home and hide under the bed until the 26th.

I'm Jewish and don't celebrate Christmas, but we (meaning me, my brother, sister-in-law, and 2 nephews) will be spending the day driving to South Carolina (from New York) to visit our cousins for the week. We will stop overnight in southern Virginia, and finish the trip on Tuesday. I'm just hoping that there will be places open for us to stop at for eating and going to the bathroom. My highlight of the day will be watching the Jets beat Miami on Monday night. I made my sister-in-law promise that we will get to the hotel in time for the game.
