We continue to allow murder on grander scales for no good reason.

Prisoners have children too. If whoever you're talking about goes to jail, they will not be comfortable. A known child-killer or rapist does not have an easy life on the inside.

That being said, I disagree with those who say killing people like that would just bring us down to their level. Sometimes you have to take a hit for the good of humanity and wipe some people off the face of the earth.

Trying to control others instead of ourselves has never worked and never will. The more we focus on controlling any person or any thing, the more negative behavior will be created. We create the World around us and allow atrocities because we rarely think about how we would like others to live. The desires of many allowed the Holocaust to happen. I don't mean the desire that others be killed. I do mean the desire for "someone" (Hitler) to "rescue" someone (the Germans) from something (a bad economy).

I find this response wholly inappropriate, repulsive and entirely ignorant - it implies that these 5 people deserved to be killed/die for totally not meeting someone else's standards - who died and made him god? - who's the soul-less human being now?

well look at history Hitler managed to kill millions of jews and saddam hussain killed thousands did we punish them well not really.
