The first "Star Trek" movie ("Star Trek - The Motion Picture) was a flop and they stuck with it. Look at how successful (and fun) a re-launch that turned out to be.

Actually since it has been so many years I don't think it will work. However, if you have ever read the book by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle entitled " Dream Park " it is about 10 steps up from Futureworld where they used robots in that movie. In the book Dream Park they used actors/actresses and holograms that were so good you couldn't tell if the person next to you was real or not. Wouldn't that make a more fantastic movie? Especially with the technology that we have today?

Gosh, the only one i've got have been given it Yirumi. via the top of the movie we detect out that he had a effective audition by using fact his father replaced into on the school board and the judging replaced into rigged. ... we could continuously have popular by using fact he started and stopped Fur Elise thrice on the beginning up till now wandering off to A River Flows. with a lot of movies timing is everything. This is ultimately what this film would face. I think it needs more time. It is too bad about the first one. They had a chance and it fell short. I almost hope they make another.

Yes, I grew up with the TV series, loved it, and I even liked the movie.
There are a lot of movies I would love sequels to. . . including the Beverly Hillbillies, I would also like to see a movie made out of Gilligans Island.
