I would just buy them all a gift from you at xmas time! And if you have some toys you dont use/want lying around, say that you had a clear out and was wondering if her children would use the things your "throwing" away!

Do you and the girl have any mutual friends? They may know her better. She may be genuine OR she may just be a scrounger. Take care because I would hate for your generous spirit to get a knock if you found out that's what she is. If she is genuine then you could visit and leave them behind without saying anything.
GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS........

You should just take a few round to her house . She might burst into tears but she will be grateful, if only because you will make her kids christmas!! Just choose your words carefully so as not to let her think that she is a charity case. Good for you. !! Merry Christmas to you.

aw........ that would be really sweet of you to do. you should go shopping with her and pick the presents.
I don't think it would embarrass her, if it would then she wouldn't have told you that she has know money to buy gifts for her sweet children.
have fun abd marry Christmas. GOD IS ARE SAVIOR!!! WHOO!

Take something for each of them and also for your friend. Nothing to expensive though, this might make her feel a bit embarassed. If you do it with good will there should be no problem
