downloads without pertaining to ipods and such. since windows media player are no longer free, nor kazaa..could someone pleeeeeease tell me if they know of any websites. thanks

soulseek .. I use it and its really easy .. you just make an account and set the file sharing configuration ( what files you want to share with others .. if any ... and where you want your downloads to go )

Try Limewire. If that software doesn't work out for you try Morpheus.

limewire? it's a program, but downloads are free.
i'd just advise against downloading too much from it. i don't know how much it's being observed/how illegal it is anymore.

www.yourmp3.net ...it has some singles/popular songs for free download..
but i use limewire..
