Eh yes! Remember the shy ones are always the worst!

If you like him and he likes you, what's the problem?!

When talking to him, try and loosen up a bit and act more like yourself. This'll (hopefully!) break his "strong and silent" attitude. And be patient if he keeps shying away. Even the simplest comments, such as "Hey" or "Nice shirt" are enough to get him to feel a little more comfortable. Basically, be cool and comfortable, and he'll start talking again.

And a bit of flirting wouldn't hurt! But go easy - forget any pick-up lines you may have planned on using (!)

Well, you've set the ball rolling now so what have you to lose? If he is as shy as you say then definitely don't go in with all guns blazing. Just some gentle flirting to see how he reacts (positively hopefully) and take it from there.

Good luck!

I think the reason he is acting shy is because he feels the same way about you.... I suggest you go and talk to him, what is the worst he can say? No. But the way he is acting, maybe he is too scared to say anything to you..... the word I am looking for here is Male Pride.....

Oh yes. Judging by his reaction (which is good! He obviously likes you!) it's time to nudge things on a little. He sounds like a shy lad. Don't come on strong though otherwise you might frighten him off.

Yes, all day long. See if he wants to go out, the sooner you do this the sooner you will both be happier
