When I was little I would talk to a boy called Tommy and he turned up at the foot of my stairs on days when presents were around (Christmas, Easter, birthdays etc) and later I found out that a boy called Tommy lived at the house before I did but can't find out when he died.

Yes, I believe in that. I have seen one.
There is a picnic table on a river bank, where an antique steam train runs.
In the fall, alittle before the sun goes down, there is a lady that is walking fast and has a child with her?
She demands to know what I am doing there, and she is very Angry. It's just that she demands, and won't stop asking...
Then her and the child run down the bank together.
And the part they run to doesn't go anywhere, except into sticks and thorns.
They say that it's an energy that repeats on the anniversary because that is when it is the strongest, when it happened.
I've also heard it called a resonance haunting. That it's an imprint left on the atmosphere.
Well, this girl was way stronger than that! I saw her blond hairstyle, and the fall colors in her clothes. The child always looks blank.
And there is no way anybody alive that concerned about being down there is gonna go that way.
