Hopefully you know something about the child, that will help, but here are some things 12 year olds might like:
- CDs
- movies
- gift cards
- clothes (if you're sure of the stlye and size)
- earrings/other jewelry
- activity kits, like make your own soap, candles, lip gloss, etc. if she's crafty
- books
- stuffed animals
- money
- hair things
- having a special day with you, like maybe going to lunch, getting your hair done, a movie
- computer or video games
- scrapbooking supplies
- fairy statues/figurines
- perfume/bath sets
Since it's so close you might want to just get gift cards and let her get what she wants.
Merry Christmas!

A twelve year old girl would most likely want clothes from her favorite store. That's what i wanted for Christmas when I was 12.

Tweens are pretty easy, get her some fun makeup--nothing too flashy or "grown up" looking. CD's are great, if you know what music she likes, or even better, an itunes gift certificate, since that's where most of the kids get their music these days. The hip stores would be Gap, Old Navy, Abercrombie, American Eagle, Limited or Limited Too. Try gift cards or even some costume jewelry from those stores. Good luck!!!

It really depends on what she likes. If she likes crafts, get her a scrapbooking kit. She might be sporty, might love a certain movie or video games or something... it really depends on what she likes. She probably likes jewlerly and clothes, so Ardene and Claires has the best and cheapest gifts for 12-year old girls, but get her what she wants and what she's talking about if it isn't too expensive. I'm 13, so that's how I know.

Depending on how well you know her... Think about what she WANTS and what she NEEDS... Try to combine the two with something fun... Say for instance, she likes and wants jewelry or trinkets, but needs a new coat - get her a coat that is both fashionable and functional, and maybe dress it up with some small accessories or pins... If you don't know her well, talk to her family or friends for ideas. Good luck!

I'm thirteen, and I would like (no chance of getting) the complete DVD set of Friends, Nintendo DS with some games, Nintendo Wii with some games, the new Gwen Stefani CD, video iPod, cell phone with a camera, stuff like that.

I agree with the other folks here, it certainly depends on what she's interested in. While my daughter is 10 and quite mature (aren't they all) she has no interest in games (electronic) or barbie's for that matter. Her interests lie in CLOTHES....lol, the latest and greatest fashions...sigh, and Heely's. Since she's quite craft oriented a bunch of how to books especially designated for her age are great!
Good Luck and Merry Christmas!!

Some of my suggestions:
*Movie gift card (A cinema, blockbuster, etc.)
*Gift card to a favorite store
*Candles, jewlery
*Favorite book or movie
However if you are ever in doubt then a simple gift card to Target, Wal-mart, Best Buy always work, believe me! :)
