Ladies, you hide your feet inside boots and shoes, and some very nice ones there are, during the winter months. So why when no one can see your feet do you still spend time painting your tootsies? I like painted nails, but I can`t get my mind around the reasoning for this.

You got a negative rating for this question for how random it was, I guess. I like to paint my nails whenever because I live in California and I can wear flip-flops basically year round. I guess we also like painting our tootsies during the winter because at least they'll look pretty in the shower or at home!:D

Ahh, but there may be an occassion for someone else to see our pretty tootsies. I sometimes wear open toes or sandals for work or going out, so I want my feet to look their best. It's also a nice relaxing pampering we can give ourselves.

Myself, I wear sandals in the winter even. The cold doesn't bother me hardly at all, so I wear the sandals all year round. So I paint my toenails even now in the winter, because they are still able to be seen by others.

I never paint my nails or toenails ever. The more natural, the better to me. I guess the reason they might do this is for fun when they're bored, or to just feel pretty? It's the same thing as pretty bras/underwear. No one sees it, so why does it matter? I've always wondered that.

because when woman are at home they dont wear shoes or socks sometimes and still want their feet to look nice.

My toenails are always painted, just because I like it that way. Also, down here in New Orleans, the weather changes frequently. Today is warm enough for sandals.

Because it is a wonderful sensation, to feel the brush of the nail polish liquid on your toe nails !! And you look so feminine when you go to bed !! Try it !!! you wont regret it.

I do it coz at my job i have to wear heels no matter what so i do it so my feet can look cute, but i get u now u got me thinking why do we paint our toes in winter.
