no, no one of any age should roller blade in the house, it ruins carpets, it can be dangerous, you run the risk of breaking alot of stuff, let her go out side and roller blade in the drive way. ill ask you this question, would you let your 11 year old daughter rollerblade around in someone elses house? if you have to ask whether its ok or not then its probably not.

I guess it depends on your rules and your floors. It's up to you. I won't let mine roller blade in the house because the hard wood floors would get all scratched. That would bother me -- but we have a long driveway that she can rollerblade on, so we're lucky.

let's just say when I was 10 years old I got my first pair of blades and was trying them out in the kitchen..when my Mom walked in and I wheeled over her toe by accident...ouch! she had no trouble changing the rules very quickly! save yourself, save your furniture..or set aside an clear empty area just for the purpose? watch your toes :)
