Not knowing what that mistake is,or was, I am unable to intelligently respond to your question. I will however say that any mistake no matter how bad it was can be learned from and at least that allows it to serve some purpose.

Yeah I'm kinda leaning toward answer # 1 with some additional thoughts.

There is no real FIX. Ya done it, pay for it, even in a subtle pennance. Will you be forgiven, here, in this lifetime? I have no clue, but what you can do is take the mistake, learn from it, and never commit the error again. Will that save you, or help those involved? I can't say, but I do say "I Tried"

Beyond that, and without knowing when the END of your LIFE might occur, I suggest you'll "make" more. Perhaps more or less critical.

We can only live in the NOW, not in the past. Dwelling on the past causes guilt and shame. Worrying about the future causes anxiety. We can only be in the present and take action in the present. So do in the now whatever you feel is best. Focus on what you can do that is good. With the benefit of hindsight many things that would appear to be our biggest mistakes in reality turn out to be our greatest gifts. They show us what we most wish to learn.

Sometimes you can fix things like that if you truly want to you will find the right way. Sometimes no matter what you try there may be some fixing but thing may never go back to the way they were, you just have to do what you can, accept the consequences, and keep going and moving on.

I think you can always change and fix mistakes. A big part of it is knowing you made a mistake and trying to change. Now that you know what's wrong in your life, make a plan about how you are going to change your life and try to fix what's broken.

Only if you have COURAGE to fix it.

I think making mistakes is what mostly people afraid of.Making decision of fixing it and deal with mistakes is usually the HARDDEST part.
If in the end, it can not be fixed, anyway you will be satisfied because you've tried. Then you leave no regret.

There is no "fixing" a mistake. You can make ammends, you can offer your apology (whether it is accepted or not is up to the other party and would be their problem if they refuse), you can pay restitution. What you need to do depends on the mistake and the current circumstances....

Your question is a little vague, at best. However allow me to say all things are fixable as long as you are alive.

Give us a little more information - if you wish - and I will keep you on my watch list for a while.

Good Luck
