At first when people start dating of course they are going to worry about their looks and make sure that the other person is not home when they do the number 2....alot of times when people get comfortable around each other sometimes they tend not to maintain themselves as much as they used to b/c they say that they love each other and they dont care how they look.

Why don't men find a way and the miracle to carry the baby in thier own bodies, stretched out of all the skin of your body, misserable, and gain weight of the baby's in the womb, and let women just be the seed and nag at their spouse for gaining weight because they got fat of carrying the child in their own bodies.
When men find out how to do this, women can finally not able to gain so much weight and stretched their bodies out, and sacrafice their bodies for having a baby and for their own husband.
So the meantime, start being supportive, as life coach, not a constant ****** about losing the weight, and tell her, you still love her, and start making yourselves being attractive to her.
Any woman deals with the stress of having babies, and a nagging griping unappriated husband will gain weight, and not able to lose the weight. She is suppose to be supermom, do all the work at home, take care of the kids, and work too, while the jerk sits on the couch, wanted to be serve hand and foot, and watch tv, and does not give her chance to do things for herself to even go to the gym, exercise, or even just spend time with the girlfriend, and no it is not the same, at a playdate with anoter mom with the kids!!!!!!!!!
your answer of neglect of keeping the body weigght under control, it by neglect of the husband not doing his responsibilty of letting her do things just for herself, and not being happy!!!!

I personally think that is a very biased question. I for one am very conscious of my body weight. Yes l have gained a couple of kilo's from when l first got married but that was 30 yrs and 3 kids ago. My husband has also gained a little weight. So l guess l could also ask the same question of the men. Don't you think ?? I call it our middle age spread and we can both live with that !! Hope this helped and Merry Xmas to you.

I think it depends on if the man is shollow or not and how much weight you mean. With age and after having thre children, it becomes more difficult to do. After 15 years of marriage I'm 15 pounds heavier and my husband thinks even better. I maintain a strict diet and exercise program, it just gets difficult. If a man doesn't understand I wouldn't want him anyway, he would obviously only care about the outside no matter what type of bad person they were. I'll take the inside any day.

for what its worth, aas men get older it happens to them also.

lol well, it doesnt matter to REAL men... lots of things come into consideration ive had 3 children, and currently have a 4 month old. i just found out that im back to my pre baby weight, but you have no idea how hard that was to do! i dont get a chance to work out until 10 pm, and then i cant even get to sleep cause im all pumped up. it can be controlled, but it is very hard to accomplish when your life is so busy

Mostly, the minute they get married they tend to think "I've got him, we're in this for good" so they let down and start gaining weight.

Just like some guys start sitting around drinking a 12-pack every day and not taking a shower. Laziness.

While looks are important, love is unconditional. As soon as men recognize that, maybe the good women who are a bit chunky can stop losing out to the air heads.

Why do men sit on the couch and swill beer and watch football?

It's just easier than going to the gym and keeping the six-pack on the belly, rather than in the belly.

If you are this obsessed with looks, you may have problems in the future with relationships

I am not sure but, this goes for both men and women. I have seen so many women blame having a kid on it well, I have 4 kids and sure dont have a weight problem..Women just use it as an excuse..Men on the other hand dont have that to use. I think they just obviously dont care enough about themselves to do anything about it
