There are several things to do to find out, but come down to two choices- a) ask her or b) don't ask her. But either way you will never really know for sure (sometimes I'm embarassed to admit who I like so I don't reply truthfully)
My guess (forgive me if I am wrong) is that she is rather popular, and you are not, so I'd say be careful what you say about liking her, because middle school girls can be b!tches.
So my advice is become her friend, and then maybe bring it up casually in conversation- asking her who she likes, maybe in a game of truth or dare, etc...
Or you could ask your friends to ask her- although that often ends up very mangled.
When I'm near a guy I like, I get tongue-tied, and can't think of anything to say. So I stand there being akward, until something embarassing happens to me. But when I'm with my friends (who are girls) I'm outgoing and hyper. I can't really figure out why this happens. You can tell if I like a guy because I can never meet his gaze, and I end up stuttering and turning red. Or don't say anything.

k i'm 13 and in 7th grade so i know what ur going through....... well when i like a guy i usually stare at him a lot but then often get caught by him (giving him hints) and i also talk 2 him randomly during classes and stuff........ so if u think this girl alexander likes u maybe she's doing this..... oh and she might b a little mean if she's really shy but u never really know until u ask her....... ANOTHER thing u can do 2 find out is sending a trusted friend 2 ask her.... c what she says and just keep asking her!!!

I am a fourteen year old girl.So I really understand what is going on.Personally when I am next to the guy I like I tend to speak more loudly or laugh more loudly so I can get his attention.I also smile more and of course I look him straighyt in his beautiful dark brown eyes.Sometimes I also play with my hair with my hands or pull them back so I can show my beautiful earings and my neck.This stuff is pretty common.All the girls do it.Hope it helps.

Well, if the girl is confident she will be more forward about it. She will probably put her arm around you and stuff. Or she might smile and look at you differently than she does to everyone else.

I would just try to be near the guy I liked as much as possible. Flirting with him, looking for an excuse to touch him, and laughing at the things he says.

well if she is nice and is your friend ask her about it i mean no reason to go on like it isnt happining just give4 it a chance and if she just likes you asw a friend dont rush it it could ruin a future relationship.
