You have used the trigger words.. Bush... Believe... NO I DO NOT and there will be some limited drafts within 18 months.

I don't believe them in general, but I doubt they'll bring back the draft. These guys are crafty in bringing the public right to the brink, but never too far. Low ratings can be dealt with. Being booted out of office makes it a lot more difficult to spread your political will. I'm guessing the American public couldn't accept a draft. They are few, but there are enough people who are unwilling to fight this charade of a war to turn it into a very big problem. Personally, if I was sent, there would more likely be a bullet in Bush's forehead (or even back for all I care) than some Iraqi.

The only people that are for bringing back the draft are democrats and the only ones who keep saying that Republicans are going to bring it back "any day now--you just watch--"are democrats. Talk about "scare tactics!" Good thing you people do use them, eh?

Look at the facts, we do have selective service, and upon a National Emergency the Draft would most definitely be initiated.

Don't know who "Bushco" is and what they did wrong, but New York Democrat Charlie Rangel is pushing to bring back the draft.

Well, if people appreciate the idea that their freedom has a definite cost and didn't just fall out of a cereal box, there might not be a need. That, however, is unlikely as we seem to have an overabundance of whining, cowardly, selfish people who have this huge sense of entitlement.

That will be a decision for the next administration. Wouldn't it be poetic justice for Hillary to reinitiate the draft?

You have proof otherwise? Or are you just spouting off? Scared? There is no need for a draft, if there were what you going to do, run?

THEY DONT' HAVE TO. THE DEMS HAVE BEEN DOING THAT FOR THEM. ONE BLACK REP, RANGLE, FROM NEW ENGLAND HAS BEEN ON THAT KICK FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS AMOUNG OTHER DEMS AND IT HASN'T GOTTEN ANYWHERE. IF WE NEED MORE TRAINED TROOPS, ALL THE GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO DO IS RAISE THE AUTHORIZED LEVELS IN EACH OF THE SERVICES. THE COMMANDANT OF THE MARINE CORPS HAS ASKED FOR THAT VERY THING. THEY HAVE BEEN TURNING FOLKS AWAY BECAUSE THEY ARE AT THEIR LIMIT.
