I have a computer with Windows XP Professional Edition and another one with Windows XP Home Edition. I want to network them both so I can file share between the both of them. I'm using a Linksys Wireless network.

first, you'll have to enable winxp pro to allow file and printer sharing on the firewall, if you are using the winows firewall

then you'll have to make sure that both are on the same workgroup

next, you'll have to share a folder. right click on the folder, click on sharing and security and go through the option

then you can browse your network by going to my network places under my computer. the icon is on the left side. click on view workgroup computers icon on the left again to browse the network. you should see computers on your network. double click on the other computer to view the shared folder.

if you have a firewall on the xp home, you'll also have to allow file sharing.
