Coward - Deserter - Definitely not a hero. He was so brave he got Daddy to get him into the Air National Guard instead of going to Vietnam, then when he was on active duty, he went AWOL to go to Alabama to work on a political campaign. Some might call his actions heroic - but they weren't. And how he stayed out of jail for going AWOL only shows once again, Daddy had a lot of pull even then. The guys who went to the Nam and fought were the heroes - that's not a word you can use in the same sentence with the name George Dumbya Bush.

Certainly a coward, a deserter. One of the biggest hypocrites to have been president. One of the most corrupt. He has shown that he will order the murder of HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE if Halliburton and other special interest groups can make a penny doing so!

His Daddy got him a special deal so that he wouldn't ever have to see any combat and he couldn't even show up for that...he was a drunken deserter while other young men were either serving valiantly or standing up for what they believed in protesting...he is a disgrace in every way.

Since he avoided Nam and had his records shredded I would vote deserter. I know that the die hard republicans will disagree.

A criminal deserter, he was busy doing "eight balls" off the azzes of privilidged cowgirls while "real" kids were getting shot up in Nam, hell of a guy.

He should resign and strap an M-16 to fight in his OWN sandbox to complete his Air Guard commitment.

Who cares what he did as a teenager/young adult. We all did stupid things when we were young. What's more important is what he is doing now, which is ruining our country's reputation worldwide and stirring up more terrorism than he's stopping... worst president since Nixon and Carter.
