It was a gift from my grandparents.. so I didn't really have a choice. I don't know much about computers, so I was just wondering.

I guess I'm just grateful I have a laptop.. but I was wondering what the quality would be like.

Should I keep my desktop then? I loooove my desktop.

If it is strictly office work, then yeah! Otherwise go for something better!

NO! celeron's are junk, they are sloooooow, you will regret the purchase.
I personally am a AMD fan, they are faster and way less expensive.

Intel may have fast processor speeds but its the Front Side Buss that counts, i mean if it can add 2 and 2 very fast, but takes forever to tell you; what was the point in it adding 2 and 2 really fast?

It's OK. You should keep the desktop though. It's a pretty basic laptop and probably won't be as fast at a lot of things.

If you're just using it to browse the web, do some word processing, etc, typical business stuff, it'll likely be fine. It's probably not amazing in performance for multimedia stuff.
