I suggest this service: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=538

It's a cheap service that works great! It could be used for a much deeper search. You can use it to get hold of different varieties of background reports, and in addition cell numbers, addresses and names.. you can get unlimited reports... I ran with this because I required to verify more numbers. You can get the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and much more about anyone! The completly free reverse phone lookup generally doesn't provide anything interesting. To get interesting information, money will must be paid. The free searches don't provide considerably more than what may be found through the phone directory or personal information and they simply require your email to send spam. The reverse phone detective search tool does work, but you should use just the service that I posted above. The last thing you want to do, is pay for a service and find the numbers you want to lookup are not available in their directory.

The service that I reccomend doesn't have any kind of problem , you won't get any bad surprise! Trust it!

If you know how to work out the area they live in by looking at the first 3 numbers of their landline, this could narrow your list down. Alternatively, if you are with a provider, they can sometimes help you find out. Ask for the nuisance calls bureau at BT or whoever you have. They are helpful and someone doesn't have to scream abuse or threaten you for it to be classed as "nuisance". Even silent calls are looked into. Good Luck. I know how it feels.

If they are harassing you maybe you can report it to the police and they can investigate... maybe. Or you can pay some sites for things like cell phone number look ups or reverse phone number look ups for cell phones but again, will probably cost a lot.

It sounds like this person is purposly calling you and they are doing intentionally. Maybe you can change your number or have your provider (or maybe through the phone itself) and have that number blocked.

Go to http://www.anywho.com and reverse lookup by their phone number.

It will give you the name of the person the phone is listed to-- if the phone is a landline phone.
If it is a cell phone, you won't get any info off of it. Cell phones are still unlisted at the time.

If they're harassing you-call the police and your telephone company. They can trace the call and take care of it for you.

If it is from a cell phone not likely since those numbers aren't published. You can try and plug the number into Yahoo without dashes and with the area code. If it is a land lind number yahoo should pull up their information as long as it is a published number.

If you have the number try reverse phone directory, this only works on a land line though. Try googling the number and see what happens. If they're annoying you *57 and they won't be able to get through as you will have blocked them.

If they call a lot even when you ask them to stop then they are harassing you. You can report them to the police and they can figure it out.

Also do a reverse phone lookup at www.anywho.com

Just try asking the person in a nice way who is it by calling the number on your caller id or you could just block that number
