You know I have pondered over this question since I was 10 or 12, why was it that mom and dad always said they had a date with the "fat man" to discuss our lists? I mean, why could we not tell santa himself (I knew that the mall santa was a fake)? Why was it that there were never boot markings on the light carpet (Usually every year in Oregon we experience rain or snow)? And while I still do not have the evidence to support my thesis on why he is real or fake, I would rather instead believe that he must exist and it is the reason why we all recieve things our parents/friends would never buy for us...

Yes he is... he might not come in a red suit with reindeer but he is real... He is the old lady that gives everything she has to those who have nothing, even though she has even less. Or the rich man who buys toys for kids and gives them to toys for tots. It's the giving nature in all of us, when we give from the heart.

A lot of people say he's not, but I believe in him. All you need in order to really believe in him is yourself. It is really up to what you think if Santa is real or not.

Santa Claus exists, as certainly as love and generosity and devotion exists.
