On Brainiac a while back they filled up a swimming pool with 'custard' in order to prove that it was possible to walk on a non-Newtonian liquid - all you have to do is keep walking.
But how did they ever get the 'custard' (it wasn't stuff you could eat) out of the pool afterwards ?
Or is it still there ?
Is there a pool somewhere in England that will be forever full of custard ?

Use sponge fingers - although this may be a 'trifle' difficult.

Tassie! long term no see! finding on the thickness of the custard. if that's the comparable pool of custard I swam in 3 years in the past, that is a sturdy concept to bathe out the pool, and do away with lots of the electric home equipment.

I really wish I'd seen that!! I would imagine they would be able to drain it by adding something to it to make it more runny, either water or some other custard-destroying substance! The drains at the bottom of swimming pools are pretty big, so it probably wasn't too difficult.

Add enough custard powder so its neither a liquid or a solid, its something inbetween. Lift it out.

Perhaps with a sewerage disposal lorry. You could write to the program makers, if you really want to find out.

Simple. Accuse the pool of a serious crime, and the Police will take the pool and its contents into custardy!!
