if you want to dress emo then all you need is a pair of skinny fitted jeans, you can get them anywhere it doesnt need to be from hot topic and a grey zippy [ zipped hoody ] and some sort of band or black t-shirt with a lyric or something on it. wear slip on vans or show converse and grow a fringe.

If you're TRYING to dress emo, you're trying WAY too hard.

Try goodwill, salvation army, or other thrift stores.
Pick out random things that you wouldn't usually wear, and give it a try. It's about branching out.

Or go for color, it's often more flattering and you will be taken much more seriously.

verify thrift shops for the punk/goth/emo seem (eighty's deathmetal shirts, ripped black denims, etc) and verify accessory shops like Ardene or Claire's for the black/pink/cranium/studded jewelry, bracelets, cuffs, hair upload-ons/hats, and belts. they'd appear like they're crammed with preppy sh*t yet those places additionally sell a collection of cool emo kit.

Why are so many people emos now..... do you really have something to cry about? Probley not since your on a computer. Try dressing original, im not trying to flame you and i don't hate emos, i'm just tired of everyone trying to be something their not.

Buy tight faded jeans, and put holes in them. Look at Wal-Mart if everything else is too expensive. Dollar General may even have some. Buy Knock-off Converse at Wal-Mart or Payless...Buy tight shirts....Die your hair black and keep it longer and straighten it if you can..

Your best bet is a goodwill or buffalo exchange. But you seriously want to reconsider being emo...they're A$S-whooping magnets.
