does the person's profile picture disappear from the "pending request" section? or do you get an actual message that says you've been declined? Thanks in advance

You don't get a message to say you've been declined. The person will disappear from your pending friend list and appear on your friends list if they have accepted your invitation or will not if they have declined your invitation.

Well no you dont get a message that says you've been decline. The person from your pending request just goes away.

They will just disappear, You dont even get notified if they rejected you or not.
