nope, Ireland is. For a country of 3.9 million to have produced U2, Thin Lizzy, Van Morrison, The Undertones, Snow Patrol, BellX1, Stiff Little Fingers, Therapy?, The Boomtown Rats, The Pogues, Horslips, Damien rice, Ash and Director is an amazing achievment

Yes the bands you've identified are amongst the very best but let’s not forget that there are great bands from all over. Yes even America has some great bands - Eagles, the band, Jefferson Airplane, G&R, etc, etc, etc. Music is one of the few things that unites so lets not try and turn it into a competition.

Best in the world brainwash time. Which band do you actually play in? Anyway bands like sex pistols are dead. So is Queen. The Rolling stones are Zombies, So is the Beatles. Baby Shambles are shambolic Drug addled rubbish. Blur is c**p (with C in capitals). Pink Floyd is the only one I will rate of the entire lot (6.5/10). Enjoy!

The best music comes from America and that is because of the African imported people.

Sorry Britian has lost it. The best country to produce music is now Finland, with H.I.M., The 69 Eyes, The Rasmus, Apocalyptica, Nightwish. That is where the music is at these days!
