OK; I am Black, Cuban, and Chinese (my Grandmother is Chinese or something)... but people either think that I am Filipino or Hawaiian. The odd thing is that I have big eyes (go figure), I have no idea why Japanese people keep thinking that I am Japanese.

Another thing that pisses me off is that I put my picture in myheritage thingie and it finds celebrities that you look like, and I got her!

I'm not stupid; that is not the only language that they speak morons. They work at this store and I sometimes shop there and the cashier speaks Japanese to me, but English to my friend.

I think the whole heritage thing is funny and hilarious. But no you don't look Chinese or Japanese. You look more like a Hawaiian/Asian person

It's the eyes I think. Other than that, u don't look Japanese to me. I know what u mean though. a lot of people think I'm mexican, and speak spanish to me. I'm Indian(from India), and yes, I do not like my own kind. More like despise them(hence my nickname). But my avatar does resemble me quite a bit. though. I can see what I'm referring to. And the thing is, I grew up in a town FULL of mexicans! So u wouldn't think that they'd assume I was one of them. But they do.

well to be fair you do have a very simialer eye shape to the japanese woman on the myheritage site. It doesn't seem too farfetched to think you are japanese on appearances alone.
You have a wonderfully eclectic mix of cultures, by the way. :)

I have two ideas, one- that the Japanese people don't know how else to talk and they hope you might understand, or two- that you really do look Japanese.
Maybe you should learn Japanese.

well, i don't think you look japanese. seriously! cause your eyes are totally not small, and they look so nice, and you have a different skin tone then asian people do. I think you are 10x prettier than japanese or chinese.
