There are lots of entry-level opportunties for accounting gradulates. For starters, you could go to the online job sites like monster.com, careerbuilder, or craiglists and type accounting and get a bunch of entry-level positions. You could go to the websites of the big accounting firms and see if there any entry-level positions open. Another good place is government jobs, there always looking for accountants.

You can begin right now (unless you are already allowing your education to "indoctrinate" you as well). Get a copy of Robert Kiyosaki's book, The Cashflow Quadrant, and his board game CashFlow 101. Learn from these. Learn how money is really made nowadays. Hint: It's not in working for someone else. The median age of individuals getting in the business in which I am involved, is twenty-two. People are setting themselves up for life, financially independent with residual income, in three years or less. It can be done, and it is being done, ethically, legally and on a mass scale. But the media do not report it because we purchase no ad space from them. And at age 45, I am following my 23-year-old mentor because he has the fruit on the tree.
