It sounds like that is probably what is happening. Don't be surprised if there are no cramps or pain involved and also, the first few periods usually dont involve much other than spotting a little. My advice: the first thing to do is to tell your mother. She can provide you with the proper protection to protect your clothing. She also needs to know so that she can be aware of any information that you may need and it is just something nice to share between a mother and daughter. I have 3 grown children - my only daughgter is 25 now, but when she first started her period she came running to me in delight because it was a sign that she was growing up and changing from a little girl to a woman. We celebrated! I hope that you can share this in a good way with your mom. Also, if you have an older sister and are close, she could be a source of good advice. When I was a young girl, people did not talk about periods, or menstruation; there were not ads on tv for feminine protection products, and subjects such as this were not spoken about openly as they are today. In my mother's day, women were told that this was something sort of secretive and some people even referred to it as "the curse". There are times when after years of having periods you may think of it as a curse too, but really the whole thing is a celebration of the human race. This means that your body is preparing to be able sometime in the future, to harbor a new life and the fact that we, as women, can bring new life into the world is one of the most exciting things about being alive. Good luck to you in your teen years, you are starting an exciting time of your life. Confide in your mother - she wants to be and will be your best friend.

yeh it looks like you have.

you'll notice the toilet tissue is a bit browny/reddy for a few days now.

ask your mum about wearing pads to make you feel comfortable. you probably won't get any drips or hurts for a while, it begins gradually.

you're fine okay, its nothing to worry about.

this site is really good for everything that you need:

hope everything goes well and that it doesn't make you feel a bit wierd over Christmas.

Have a wonderful Christmas and a lovely 2007 x

I started when I was 13 and my sister started at 11 (nearly 12) it sounds like you definatly have. I didnt have any pain on my 1st one either. dont worry tho its only natural go and talk to your mum and im not advising you to have sex at all but if you end up doing it (please dont) make sure you use protection as you can get pregnant now and no-one wants that at 13.

congratulations your a woman now!! (its a pain in the butt lol)

properly as quickly as upon a time i became a bored 5th grader one summer season night and that i became flipping via channels and that i finished and observed a wrestling ring with Triple H beating somebody up with a metallic chair and there became blood...and being the freak that i became i frikken enjoyed it!!!! in any case i did no longer watch it on a known foundation yet i caught onto some favorites like Chris Jericho and Triple H returned in the day. i do no longer remember how or whilst i finished watching after a whilst and lost track of it, and then some years later whilst Smackdown switched to Friday nights, One Friday night my pals have been all busy and that i had no longer something to do, so i grew to become on the television and to my suprise Friday night Smackdown became on. in the beginning up i presumed it became stupid and did no longer see why anybody alongside with myself watched it yet then everytime I didnt dangle out on Friday nights i watched and have been given into the storylines returned as properly because of the fact the action. Now i'm hooooked!

It sounds like you have started your period

..welcome to womanhood :)

tell your mum, she'll be able to help you.. the weight you are feeling is most likely the beginnings of stomach cramps which are perfectly normal in almost all women.

good luck :)
Merry Christmas :)

Yes, it's very likely this is your period. Welcome to womenhood. Make sure you tell your mom so she can help you out. The pressure or weight you are feeling is normal, but you should still tell your mom. I started when I turned 13 too. Similar experience to yours. Good luck and have a great christmas.
