Feminist professor Camille Paglia believes that Britney was cursed by Madonna's kiss at the MTV awards, and that since that kiss Brit's career, which at that time was doing great and Brit was strong and in charge of her life has since gone in the toilet. What do you think?

I think she was "kissed" with bad judgement in pretty much everything she did. Getting drunk and married then devorced right away, then marrying and have kids with K-fed/FedEx was the worst thign she could've done. Now she's partying with Paris Hilton and showing her..."parts" to show all over the internet. She's not helping herself any.

I don't really know what Camille meant by that but I think fame and money have gone to Britney's head. This and with her marriage falling in the toilet Britney's kind of losing it. I don't think it has anything to do with Madonna. I respect Paglia alot but sometimes I think she says some strange things. Britney needs to start wearing underwear, stop whoring around with Hilton and getting drunk and acting stupid. She can get back on track. She just needs to work through this divorce and concentrate on her kids and her career. Sure being a gross media whore will get you attention for awhile but the real staying power of celebs is determined by their work, not their bare beavers.

I'm pretty sure that Brittney Spears has been cursed by the "white trash" not the kiss or any other current event. I think anyone who starts off her career as a teenage slut is bound to turn into an adult without anything to hold onto. I wouldn't say that the kiss had anything to do with the fact that Brittney based her entire career on sex appeal to begin with. Chances are, with any musician, one day you're bound to fail.

I agree, but then again people go through highs and lows in their lives. For awhile people hated Christina Aguilera and thought she was trash and look at her now. So hopefully Britney can recover and make a comeback.

Maybe she has, but I never considered Britney much of a talent. She really isn't that pretty and her voice is so over dubbed and electronically enhanced that even a deaf person can tell.

i've got study she's no longer freeing it anymore and that i do no longer think of there will be greater singles off "blackout" (it sucks cuz i in my opinion wanted her to make a video for radar) btw there is rumors she's recording a clean album ;)
